Max went on his first plane ride this week. It was harder on me than it was on him. My dad dropped us off at the airport 2 hours before our flight departure time (9:45pm). I wanted to make sure we did not have any problems with security. Turns out it took no time at all.
Max must have known we were about to do something exciting because he would not sleep. Lucky for me, only 20 other people were on that flight. The attendants were very helpful and I felt bad that Max would not smile at them. Max loves the pull-down tray. Good thing no one was by us because Max tossed my drink all over the seats next to us. He finally agreed to try to sleep just as we reached our final decent. The next thing he knew we were with DAD. I could tell by how careful Curtis was with me - I must have looked totally haggard. He drove around for half an hour trying to find a milk-shake for me. Everything closes around 11pm so we missed it by 10 minutes.

As you can tell he loved this trip. I think he had missed Curtis and was just happy to be with him again.

We made a spacial trip out to Caldwell to check on the JJ finch family home - Good news, no hobo's have found their way in. I thought the place looked really good. I'm sure the neighbors thought we were nuts to be taking pictures in front of a home that is for rent.

Curtis took us to Famous Dave's for dinner on Friday - Max was excited about the spread. He liked the booster chair for about 20 minutes then he wanted to be held once the food came (typical). He sure can attract a fan base. No matter where we go I always find people smiling at him - So many people will just come up to him and start talking in baby voice - he usually gives them a big smiles. It's like he can real them in.

We were going to take max to the hotel pool but I got one look at it and decided he would be better off swimming in our hotel tub.
