Our first stop today was old faithful. We drove from Idaho falls that morning so we found an open area and made a pick-nick.
I'm not sure who demanded this photo, either Curtis or Grandma. The little boys don't do well on demand.
After old faithful we went on a walk to the old lodge then around to the grand geyser. Curtis and I decided to head back and check in to the 3 bears lodge. Bailey, Mom and Dad waited for the Grand to go off.
Once we where all back, we decided to go to the Bear and wolf discovery center. The bears where really active. It was fun to watch them play and search for food.
I don't know when Curtis got this picture. Every wolf I saw was sleeping.

Idaho Falls
We have been planning a trip to Idaho falls and Yellowstone with my parents. We finally went on our trip last week.
When we got to Idaho we went to see Jan and Max. They are serving a Humanitarian Aid Mission. I wish I had a picture of it. They fit hundreds of people in a cultural hall and everyone works on quilts, baby kits and other Humanitarian Aid projects.
After visiting Jan and Max, we went back to their house and ate lunch. After lunch We went to Taufaus Park Zoo. We love this Zoo. It is perfect for little kids.
I think we spent about an hour at the Tiger enclosure. Max really liked it there. The Tiger had a path he kept circling. Max loved to watch him get a drink and walk through the trees. We left for a little while and when we came back the tiger was sleeping under a bush and all you could see was his tail.
Poor Kendall was confined to his stroller for the time at the zoo. He did get out and play at the tiger enclosure. He really liked the ride.
The penguins where cute but really really smelly. We didn't stay here too long.
They have a small petting zoo. Max was done petting goats in seconds. He really wanted to go in the barn they lived in. There are some small openings where the goats can go in and out. Max was really interested in getting into the barn. Kendall really liked the goats. Finally an animal he could get a good look at and stay in his stroller.
Don't worry, we have left the petting zoo. This is just a toy for kids to climb on and take pictures.
After the zoo we went to Funland. It is a really run down carnival that never leaves Taufaus park. They only had 2 people working so only one ride was going at a time. Bailey wanted to ride the plane so we stuck Max in with him. They had a good time. While they were on the ride I heard the owner tell one of the workers to fix some wires on the train with duck tape....we didn't go on any more rides.

Max Graduates; Part 2
This is Max's next graduation, from Star Bright Preschool. At the beginning They showed us what a day at the preschool is like.
Each class got to do a special performance. Read on for Max's special dance.
If you are beginning to wonder about the teacher's hair...The theme this year at preschool was Star Bright Rocks. The teachers dressed like 80's Rock stars. It was really fun for the kids to see their teachers like this.
Max preschool Graduation; Take 1
Max attends 2 preschools. Three days a week he goes to Art City. This is a special School for children with delays both physical and mental. He has really loved school. He has learned a lot here. We really appreciate the teacher and aids who have been so essential to his learning.
This was a school of fish theme graduation. The necklaces are sharks teeth. They sang a few songs about sea creatures and then we watched a recap of the year. Teacher Rachel gave a short speech and then we ate cookies and punch...Well other people at cookies and punch. We chased Max around the room.
Because Max's birthday is in October, he will have 3 years at this preschool. This is the end of our first year.

Our Dad The Grad
On May third Curtis Graduated from SLCC. He is taking a few summer classes to complete his graduation but he did walk with his class.
Both of our parents came to the Graduation. Chirstie was really funny when Curtis crossed the stage. I think it is the loudest I have ever heard her. She was screaming and whooping for him. I'm glad some one did.

The George
We headed down to Cedar City for a visit and ended up spending a day in St. George. We had a blast. Tyler, Lindsey and Claire took the kids while Curtis and I got to go to the temple. While we were gone, They all played at the splash pad. When we got back, Tyler BBQ'd for us.
Thanks for watching our kiddos! We owe you!

Kendall's Birthday
I think I posted the photos backwards again.
Aunt Kari made Kendall a fun, huge cupcake. He loved the frosting.
Kari also found this awesome cardboard cut out ...sweet deal, only 69 cents.
Curtis provided the candy table and I made fun tags at work.
Grandma is always good to join the fun.
Kendall was really good to open his gifts. He did get a little help.
I usually make the kids cakes but I have an amazing neighbor who put this all together for us. so cute! I know she spent so much time putting it all together. What a cool idea to have the cupcakes on the gear. I love it! She made the cupcake gears with fondant.
So cute and crafty! Claire made the cute table cloth. We found the material last night and Claire showed off her sewing skills.
So you may have noticed this robot is a little different from the one above....we broke the stem on the first one with in 5 minutes of when it arrived. Lucky for us we live next to the amazing cake decorator so I ran it back to her and she made us a new one. you would never guess that Curtis smashed one of the eyes when he saved it from falling to the floor.
It was a really fun day.
Happy Birthday Kendall!
